Creating 3D HUG figures on demand”

Who am I?

Hi there! My name is Eli. I’m happily married to a wonderful wife, and together we’ve brought some amazing kids into the world. I also have a well-paying job that allows me to provide for my family without financial stress. All in all, I live a beautiful and grateful life! We live in Europe, and unfortunately, English isn’t my native language — so now and then I need a bit of help with translations. I make us of AI for the translations. 🙂

So… why am I doing this?

If life is good, why would you want more?
Well, ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved tinkering on the computer. It all started with building racetracks in the game Stunts 3D, followed by creating levels for the original Wolfenstein 3DDuke Nukem 3D, and many others. I kept building 3D stuff until around the year 2000. After several failed attempts to master AutoCAD 3D, I finally gave up. I loved the idea of creating my own 3D objects — but I just wasn’t very good at it.

Fast forward to 2024. These days, life mostly revolves around work and family. And I’m still grateful. I also invest a small amount in crypto, hoping one day it’ll pay off big. No success yet — but that’s how I discovered Radix DLT, a crypto project aiming to fix everything that’s broken in the crypto space. Its final product is expected by the end of 2027.

To stay up-to-date with Radix, I joined several Telegram groups. In 2024, a meme coin called HUG launched on Radix, created as an antidote to negativity. The HUG Telegram group quickly became a breath of fresh air — full of positivity and genuinely good vibes. It inspired me to try being creative again.

Armed with a work-issued iPad and a $10 stylus I bought myself, I got back to experimenting. While browsing for creative tools, I discovered an app called Nomad Sculpt. Wow. I may have been terrible at AutoCAD 3D, but this… this I could actually do. Nomad Sculpt is so intuitive, even I could learn it!
I’ve made good progress — but I’ve hit a plateau. I need a challenge to improve my skills and take my sculpting from amateur to pro. I want to master both the art of 3D sculpting and the tools of Nomad Sculpt.

I’ve found my challenge!

Just like life, HUG has its ups and downs. With new leadership behind the coin, I want to help bring back that oasis of positivity.
How?
By building custom HUG 3D figures — for a small fee. You tell me who the figure should represent, and I’ll sculpt it for you!
Through this, I hope to spread awareness for both the Radix ecosystem and the HUG meme coin in a fun, creative way.

But Eli… why ask for money?

Good question! That’s why I donate 50% of all earnings directly to HUG, and the other 50% goes into a savings account — only to cover web hosting costs.

So you’re really not keeping any of it?

Okay… full honesty?
If I ever earn more than the hosting costs, I dream of saving up for an iPad Pro of my own. Right now, we can’t afford one without cutting back somewhere else.
If HUG becomes a hit, and lots of figures get made… who knows? Maybe that dream will come true.
It’s probably a long shot — but hey, a person’s gotta dream, right? 🙂
