Creating 3D HUG figures on demand”

So… you want to order one (or more) 3D HUG figures?

That’s awesome! By doing so, you’re helping me improve my skills — and I’m genuinely grateful for that. Just follow the steps below to get your very own 3D HUG figure(s).

Step 1: Choose who your HUG 3D figure will be based on.

Collect one or more photos of the person (or character) you want to turn into a HUG figure. Think about the pose and any special details you’d like me to pay attention to.

Want the option to sell the figure as an NFT later on? I can create an NFT for you as well! Please note: if you choose the NFT option, I reserve the right to showcase your 3D HUG figure in the gallery on my Creations page.

Step 2: Pick your style — HUG Original or HUG New?

The HUG Original model allows more flexibility in recreating facial features and personal details. The HUG New model is more stylized and cartoonish. The choice is yours!

Step 3: Get in touch.

Send me your request along with the collected photos and any notes or preferences. You can reach me in two ways:

Step 4: Let’s agree on the price.

I’m not doing this to get rich. My goal is to grow from hobbyist to pro. Pricing is flexible and depends on demand — when the waitlist gets long, the price for new requests goes up.
I estimate 1 to 2 weeks per HUG figure, as I also have a full-time job and a busy family life. This is my creative hobby.

🧾 Price estimate:

  • Image & NFT only: typically between a few dollars and $10 (paid in XRD).
  • Including 3D files: an additional $5 to $20 (depending on complexity and demand). You’ll receive three files:
    1. .nom file: fully editable scene, usable in the Nomad Sculpt app.
    2. .stl file (whole): ready-to-print full figure (max height: 20 cm — compatible with most 3D printers).
    3. .stl file (split parts): for better print quality and easier painting. You assemble the parts after printing.

While we discuss the price in USD, you’ll pay the equivalent in XRD, the native token of the Radix network.

Step 5: Prepare your XRD payment.

Step 6: Be patient.

As mentioned, one figure takes about 1–2 weeks. If I already have 3 or more orders, wait times can exceed a month. I work with a small group of clients, and by adjusting prices based on demand, I hope to keep the queue short.

Step 7: Payment & delivery.

Once your 3D figure is complete, you pay the previously agreed amount. The address of my HUG 3D wallet on Radix is provided below:

After receiving your payment in XRD, I’ll convert it into HUG and donate 50% to the HUG project. The remaining 50% goes to my savings, mainly to cover website hosting costs.

You’ll then receive:

  • A link to download your image(s)
  • The 3D files (if selected)
  • And if you opted for an NFT, it will be sent to the same wallet from which you made the XRD payment.
